The company has been operating since 2020 and is a strategic partner of LLP "Kazakhmys Corporation" for a joint project on the processing of copper scrap and the sale of copper wire rod. The manufacturer of the product is the "Kazkat" plant, located in the city of Zhezkazgan (the brand of the wire rod is KM M001, with diameters of 8 and 16 mm). The wire rod is produced using continuous casting and rolling methods in accordance with the standard ST RK GOST R 53803-2011.

Copper wire rod is consumed by cable companies for its further drawing into wire and the production of cable and wire products at the final stage, which is used both by household customers and on an industrial scale.

Over the 4 years of our company's existence, more than 70,000 tons of copper wire rod have been produced and sold. To date, the monthly supply to existing contractors is about 2,500 tons of copper wire rod.

Our production facilities fully meet the needs of domestic cable production enterprises, and are also being exported to the following countries: Russia, Belarus, Georgia and Azerbaijan.

About the Kazkat plant

The plant was putted into operation in 1994 and today the plant produces copper wire rod and has been supplied to consumers for more than 30 years.

The raw material is M00K grade cathode copper according to GOST 859-2001, which at all stages undergoes strict control by an independent world-renowned «SGS» laboratory.

Product quality control is carried out in the laboratory, which is equipped with testing and analytical equipment of a number of well-known foreign companies, such as: «Leco», «Thermo ARL», «Wolpert», «Perkin Elmer», «Binder», «Herzog».

The copper rod is annually certified by AF OPS JSC "National Center for Expertise and Certification", Almaty.

The design capacity of the plant is 50,000 tons of copper wire rod, and the peak capacity reached was 60,000 tons in 2002.
